Our friendly residents (those with a lot of nice points), unique industries, and excessive use of the kaching and motherlode cheats create a potential for a thriving environment for every Sim (even those who don't have many nice points themselves and merely take advantage).
Simasota County has successfully fostered a vibrant community, attracting over 2 million Sim residents (most of whom do not appear in-game). Our dedication to diverse industries and beautiful environments (because mood failure is unacceptable) has led to economic growth and a high quality of life for all our Sims (or at least the rich ones).

Our Mission
At Simasota County, our mission is to create a connected, nurturing community that provides opportunities for growth, innovation, and joy for all our residents while celebrating the unique beauty of our region. With an all Joy Party Board of County Commissioners, we encourage Sims to fulfill their Wants rather than their Fears. However, we appreciate the fact that he who controls the pie menu may sometimes help Sims choose to fail miserably.
Our Vision
Our vision for Simasota County is summarized by our motto: May Simasota Proper. We strive to be the ideal destination for families and individuals seeking a balanced lifestyle, abundant opportunities, and an unwavering sense of community that embraces our shared aspirations and Lifetime Wants. We promise to never remove the pool ladder or remove the doors from any rooms that have Sims in them (especially rooms that have an oven or OMGWTFBBQ with food cooking in them). Like all politicians’ promises, you should take these promises with a grain of salt. 😉
